2nd May 2014
Windsurfing: Aldeburgh
Wind Direction: NNE
Wind Stength:
Surf / Sea State: horrible chap
Air Temperature: 10.5
Sea Temperature: 12.7
Weather: cloud then sun
Max Speed: 21.8/2secs (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 9 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Looked in at Felixstowe but light winds and strangely choppy inside the sand bar. In Aldeburgh someone was sailing the river but tried the sea 96l/6m. Looked and felt windier at the shore edge but less out to sea and walk of shame 100m back. Then 115l/6.9m, sea horrible chop and fell in a lot on gybes when clew stuck in with current. Saw the rocks Al drifted into last week.Would have been OKish with smaller board and sail if wind was bit more. With shore dump decided to run up the shingle, then board got dragged out in strongback wash and had to swim out again to get it, lucky nothing broke on way back in. At least the sun came out.
